9th December, 2019, Knowledge Oasis, Oman: Takatuf Petrofac Oman, the leading Technical Training Institute in the Sultanate of Oman, celebrated one-year of success in the presence of His Excellency, Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas.
The celebration, held on-site at TPO’s state-of-the-art training institute in Knowledge Oasis, Oman, was attended by His Excellency, Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas. Leading representatives from the industry, from Takatuf, Petrofac, NTF, OOC, TPO’s Board members, Sponsoring Company Representatives, Staff, Students and many others who have supported and contributed to the success of TPO since its inception, all joined to celebrate the 1st year anniversary.
Guests enjoyed highlights of TPO’s milestones and achievements so far in a speech by TPO’s General Manager and a skilfully executed presentation from TPO students on the topic of employability skills by TPO’s Speak-Up Club. An impressive real-time shut-down event, broadcast live from TPO’s live plants demonstrating and showcasing students’ practical skills gained while at TPO was followed by an inspirational speech from the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas before a facility tour and a of course the cutting of an enormous cake!
TPO’s General Manager commented that, “We are very proud to have made it to our 1st Year Anniversary and we strongly believe that it will be the first of many more successful years to come!”
