His Excellency, Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, is Given a Warm Welcome at TPO
3rd December, Muscat, Oman: His Excellency, Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Oil and Gas, was warmly welcomed by students and staff at Takatuf Petrofac Oman on Monday, 3rd December 2018.
His Excellency, Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, was given a tour around the state-of-the-art training facility by Sheikh Khalid Bin Ghalib Al Hinai, Advisor to the Minister of Oil and Gas for Human Resources and Sheikh Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Harthi, Managing Director, Takatuf Oman.
His Excellency, Sheikh Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, kindly met and spoke with students from 6 of the sponsoring companies under the patronage of Oman Oil Company; Salalah Methanol Company (SMC), Oman India Fertilizer Company (OMIFCO), Oman Gas Company (OGC), Oman Tank Terminal Company (OTTCO), Oman Oil Company Exploration and Production (OOCEP) and Vale, in addition to students from British Petroleum (BP). The students were proud to present a short presentation to His Excellency, demonstrating the high-tech equipment being utilised by the students and staff at TPO.
“It is a great honour to be able to welcome His Excellency, Sheikh Salim Bin Nasser Bin Said Al-Aufi, to Takatuf Petrofac Oman,” commented Sheikh Ibrahim Bin Mohammed Al-Harthi. “We are very proud of our facility in Al Rusayl, Muscat, and it was a pleasure to see His Excellency engaging with the students who will be the face of Oman Oil in the near future.”
