OQ, Vale and OMIFCO Students Successfully Complete TPO’s 18-Month Technical Training Programmes

26th March 2020, Knowledge Oasis Muscat: Takatuf Petrofac Oman (TPO) announced that a further 61 students, under the umbrella of OQ, Vale and OMIFCO have successfully graduated from their specialised courses in Process Operations, Electrical Maintenance, Mechanical Maintenance and Instrumentation.

Mr Andy Morris, General Manager at TPO, congratulated the latest cohort of successful candidates who have graduated from their intensive 18-month training programme at the state-of-the-art training institute.He stated,

“All our graduates make us very proud by proving, yet again, that our training schedules here at our institute are working. We are proud to be able to continue to provide Oman with a successful and well-trained workforce, ready to be safely put to work on their very first day on the job.”

The successful students will now begin their careers with the companies that have sponsored them throughout their training at TPO including; OQ Group, Oman India Fertiliser Company (OMIFCO) and leading metals and mining multi-national company Vale.

All graduates will receive certificates from the National Training Fund (NTF) in addition to Level 2 and Level 3 awards from City & Guilds, the UK-based global leader in vocational skills and development.
